• You need to get some Styrofoam sheets, ideally about 3 inches thick.
• Wrap the sheets in foil.
• Secure the sheets of foil covered foam to the back of your garage door. If the door is a roller shutter, this won’t be possible. Although it will be to a degree with sectional doors, although you may need to use thinner sheets.
• Open the door to ensure that the insulation doesn’t impede any mechanism.
